FOLTOUR Trading, Transport & Tourist Services was established in September, 1990, by Mr Jerzy Folwarski. In the beginning of its operation, the company was engaged in organising tours, trips, holidays, youth camps and pilgrimiges to well-known sanctuaries and places of worship across Europe. Despite the limited personnel at that time, we were able to provide our customers with quality transport services operated with comfortable, modern coaches and accompanied by reliable support from our friendly staff. This approach has earned us more and more regular customers over the years.

Later, FOLTOUR decided to withdraw from organising coach trips and continued as a coach operator servicing regular coach lines mainly in co-operation with Poland's largest and most famous tour operators and travel agencies.

In 1997, Jerzy Folwarski, the owner of the company, began the construction of modern technical facilities for the company's fleet.

One year later, an idea was suggested to extend the company's range of services by building a hotel. It was then that the Empire (Imperium) began its life... The construction of the hotel was completed in August 1999. In the same month the hotel was opened to the public. As time went on, in order to cater for all the needs of our guests, the company chose to build a bar, a few conference rooms and a restaurant which was opened in November 2001 and has since been available to everyone, not only to the hotel guests. At the end of that year a decision was made to convert the coach service & maintenance hall into a covered sports hall with a floor of false grass and with facilities for tennis, football and volleyball. In December 2002 the hotel passed through the necessary categorization procedures and was classified as a three-star hotel.

On 15th February 2003 a new swimming pool was added to the sports faciltities. The pool is 5 metres wide, 10 metres long and 1.40 metres deep, and features a counter-current system that allows you to swim in place. There are facilities for hydro-massage, a jacuzzi and a solarium.
